Mr. Justin B. Perri is a multifaceted and seasoned litigator with over 10 years’ experience in the Litigation Department of Steptoe & Johnson. Justin played a lead role in the national defense of complex multi-state litigation, crafting both defensive and offensive strategies for a Fortune 50 company. He also served as counsel for a wide range of corporate and institutional clients in federal and state courts across the nation at both the trial and appellate level, and is particularly well versed with best practices to manage the risk of litigation. In 2017, Justin's trial team at Blackstone secured two plaintiffs' verdicts on behalf of victims of financial fraud.

Justin has extensive experience in protecting his clients' domain spaces from infringers either seeking to capitalize on a client's trademark or mounting a phishing campaign against the client.

Justin’s national security and appellate experience includes successfully representing, before the US Supreme Court, American prisoners of war, their family members, and members of the media, who were tortured in Iraq during the 1991 Gulf War. Justin holds a BA in History from Emory University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.

  • Blumenstein v. Waspit Group, Inc., 140 A.D.3d 620 (1st Dep't 2016) (unanimous reversal of lower court entitling client to immediate judgment under CPLR 3213 on a valuable promissory note used to secure loan to a technology company)
